Hawaii Travel: Kihei Maui Vacations
Kihei is located on the island of Maui in the Hawaiian Islands. You will want to consider staying in this particular area of Maui because the beaches here go for miles and are perfect for daily activities and lounging in the sand. In fact, Sugar Beach has about six miles of great coastline to enjoy.
As most vacations go, you will want to spend half the time relaxing and the other half exploring. Depending on what you want to explore, you can pick from water or land activities–both are interesting and full of culture and tradition. If you like the water sports, parasailing, kayaking, snorkeling and even scuba diving is available.
Kihei Maui Vacations and Land Activities
For land lovers try a hike up to the non-active volcanos summit at 10,000 feet. This volcano is called Haleakala and was one of the two volcanoes that formed the island. You can also enjoy a scenic drive around the island, which can be done in a day.
If you arent into physical activity, then take a ride into the whaling town called Lahaina. You will find museums and art galleries here as well as restaurants and stores. Depending on your time in Maui you might consider taking a day for each group of activities, therefore allowing you to do it all.
